What we are
Ocala Land Clearing Quotes is an independent referral and quote-matching website operated by Malachi VerWys. We are not a land clearing or well drilling contractor. We do not own machines, employ operators, give estimates, or perform any work. We do not have an office in Marion County.
What happens to your request
- You fill out the form.
- If you checked the consent box, we send your request to one independent land clearing or well drilling provider that serves your area.
- The provider contacts you, usually to arrange a site visit, and gives you their own price. Any contract is between you and the provider.
If no provider is available for your location, we will tell you that rather than pass your details to someone outside the area.
How we are paid
We may receive a flat fee from the provider for advertising or referrals. You never pay us anything, and the fee does not depend on whether you hire them. Because we have a business relationship with the provider we refer you to, we want you to know about it before you contact them.
What we ask of providers
We ask any provider we work with to show proof of general liability insurance and any license required for the work they do. We do not supervise their work, and we cannot guarantee their pricing, schedule, or results. Before you hire anyone, get a written estimate, confirm insurance, and ask who will pull any permits needed.
Why the local guides?
Most of the trouble on clearing jobs comes from things decided before the machine arrives: which jurisdiction you are in, whether there are gopher tortoise burrows, how debris will be handled, and whether utilities were located. We wrote the guides on this site from public sources so you can ask better questions. Every rule we mention is cited, and we review them periodically. What we never do
- Post reviews or testimonials we cannot verify.
- Pretend to be the company doing the work.
- Sell your request to multiple companies.
- Call or text you with marketing unrelated to your request.
